George Porter Jr., Russell Batiste Jr., and Brian Stoltz are part of the rich musical history that is New Orleans’ musical ancestory. Porter Batiste Stoltz are pleased to announce the hard-hitting trio’s first-ever live release MOODOO, featuring special guest keyboardist Page McConnell (of Phish) sitting in on select songs. In conjunction with the release of MOODOO, Porter Batiste Stoltz featuring Page McConnell will perform select shows this fall.

PBS is three uniquely talented musicians forging the New Orleans sound into the 21st century. Bassist George Porter Jr., drummer David Russell Batiste Jr.and guitarist Brian Stoltz bring to the stage an explosive blend of Supersonic Funk.

PBS continues their journey laying down deep-rooted grooves not meant for the faint of heart. Porter-Batiste-Stoltz are well sought after throughout the jam-nation and today continue to solidify their place in New Orleans as well as the rest of the world’s rich musical history.

Best known as the piano and keyboard player for Phish, Page McConnell was born May 17, 1963, in Philadelphia, PA, moving to Basking Ridge, NJ, in 1969 with his family. McConnell began piano lessons at the age of four and was playing in local bands by the time he was in the seventh grade.
